So one of my projects is a linear synchronous motor. The driver of which is being a /royal/ pain in the bum. So far I've been shocked twice. 50VDC, 50A peak shocks, which I would strongly recommend against receiving. The hand in the pocket rule probably saved my life. Seriously kids, this level of current WILL KILL YOU.
On the bright side, it's teaching me a lot about circuit board layout, power system design, and electromagnets. I also am learning how to clean up exploded IGBTs ;)
