The Michael Class is a terror, considered to be the New Church's dreadnoughts these ships, although they may not look it are armed to the teeth and one of the most deadliest crafts to ever fly through the vacuum of space in the Church's service. Much like the Exalted, these beasts are armed with a set of magic enhanced mass cannons at the bow (although in this case they're bigger, because why the hell not?) and a ton of energy batteries hidden underneath ready to pop out when the ship launches into fullscale combat.
However the deadliest of all of its weapons are the Sword Cannons located near the stern of the ship, which are actually visible here, although not currently in use. These weapons are the black makers located at the front of the elevated 'fins' in the back, and are a devestating weapon. Once activated the Sword's will immediately charge and proceed to fire a massive beam of magical energy, as such they will pierce through standard shielding and strike the target. Once this beam hits something, not only does it punch through it but an explosion is created at the point of impact.
However the Swords have never been used in full ship to ship warfare as of 2214, much like all ships in the New Church's fleets, the Michael Class tends to focus on fighting the demons and abominations that lay within the depths of space rather than being engaged in war and as such, its capabilities in warfare are unknown but simulations rank it as one of the highest rated craft in Earth controlled space.

A good concept and fascinating ship design, however as a military analyst I have to call into question the point of attaching the most devastating weapon to the rear of your ship.
Throughout history or rather I guess in Sci-fi History, the most powerful weapon is always mounted to the front or underneath the ship. Granted I understand the need to protect it from damage, however it seems the Sword Cannon can only fire if the stern of the ship faces the enemy. Unless you're doing a ton of maneuvering which in the comment above you said doesn't happen, the only time you'll use the weapon is when you're running away.
Also, as real life has shown us, firing a weapon from the rear of a craft while said craft is moving is HARD. Accuracy is a must with any weapon and the Michael class ship is moving around I feel bad for the people manning the Sword Cannon as trying to hit a moving target, FROM a moving target, while facing backward is a nightmare.
Recommendation: remove the protrusion on the front of the ship(Don't know what it is) and perhaps allow the front of the ship to open slightly so the Sword Cannon can fire. Its protected and its a good way to say: "SURPRISE!" to your enemy.
Ship Design: 8/10
Weaponry: 10/10 No such thing as too much Overkill
Grade: B+ Would fly if given the chance
