This is my third entry in
Swapsies
I was assigned to draw liljennie this time around and the requested scene was for the diminutive bunny girl getting ready to go trick or treating dressed as one of the Blues Brothers which brother wasn't specified so I made her Elwood so I could give her a harmonica which I hope makes her costume more readily identifiable.
The composition of the picture is very simple, but I think it manages to be reasonably effective at the same time. I especially like her pose which works quite well in the context of the picture. Thus, while this is ffar from my most ambitious project I'm quite happy with how everything came out and hope that Jennie is enjoys it as much as I do...

I'm glad you approve of your depiction (I'd been meaning to draw your fursona for some time) and have no problem whatsoever with your posting the picture in your own gallery.
As for you needing to be leashed, I'm afraid it was either that or potentially spoil your outfit by removing the glasses so you can see the bind your caretakers were in. Of course, it's entirely possible they wouldn't want you hopping around the streets after dark anyway, but at the very least being functionally blind gives them added incentive to keep an eye on you...

Well I'm really too little to be trick-or-treating alone; my parents probably come with me except in the idealized art world where all the babyfurs get to run free (or maybe the parents are just barely off-camera, or are the ones "taking the pictures"). I'm not sure I understand the concept of dark sunglasses yet. :) Anyway I'm sorry it took me so long to respond to your awesome drawing; I have been barely here for a while due to being overwhelmed both online and in RL. I hope that can come to an end and I can be less whelmed.
Well, I was starting to grow a little concerned for your well-being, but I tend to do that whenever I one of my online buddies hasn't been active in a while. I know full well how silly it is, but I am glad to see you scampering around the site again! *hugs*
Also, I suppose you're right about Jennie probably still being a bit small for trick or treating, but depending on the opacity of her glasses she might need to be kept on a short leash even at well-lit, cub-friendly, Halloween parties...

*hugs back* Well I am OK; I just have had a lot to do and the stack of unread journals and unseen art on FA was just looking .. insurmountable. It was like a regular InsurMountain of journals and art.
I toddle more than I scamper but I'm hoping to go to scamper camp someday and learn how to really scamper up a storm! We bunnies hippity-hop better than we scamper anyway; the squirrels are the real scampering experts. For now, though, it's a lot more Pampers than scampers for me :)
I am thinking that my parents would most likely carry me rather than leash me anyway, if they plan on getting me to go anywhere at all rather than just kind of toddling around aimlessly.

Punny bunny! Anyway, I suppose carrying you would probably be the better option. My mind just tends to gravitate toward putting cubs in harness because it's so much easier to draw that way. In any case, the important thing is that Jennie won't be tripping over curbs!
