I realized later that it looks like symbolism for venting or being angry about something, but no, I really just wanted to draw Riot letting lose a torrent of darkness.
Raz was smart to gtfo of the way, otherwise she woulda come out of it looking like Robert Smith+The Sandman, and I don't think she could handle that much eyeliner.
