The posing picture she was just re-opening her eyes from the flash.
Her eyes are really quite large when they are open all the way.
She is so tiny but she is nine years old.
She is very delicate.
Her heart rate is over twice as fast as most cats and she only reacts to wholistic medicine.
She has bad reactions to regular antibiotics.
Oh, don't worry, she is very healthy now and has been for a while.
She follows me around everywhere and relies on me for protection from our other, much larger cats that pick on her.
She can talk and she knows what we are saying (and not just the word "food").
She does get jealous when I pay attention to the other cats.
Don't get me wrong, I love them all because they all have their own personalities and are all so sweet.
But she is so small & delicate and I keep an extra eye on her.

Between my daughter & I, we have the two black cats, Alex & Zander & 4 variations of rescued tabbys.
One of the new rescues has a deformed front leg.
He can't use it very well but he gets around really good and is so sweet.
Then there is his mom. They were called Randy and Tim Tim. We renamed them Mandy for the mother and Timmy for the son.
My daughter has the two tabby brothers called Gold & Silver that she found as 3 kittens under someone's porch a September about 3 or 4 years ago.
Chris, the third brother, that was white with tabby blotches, passed last May.
We cann't take in any more now, because the cost can get pretty crazy - especially if one gets sick.
We love them all dearly

Our Lucy is from a shelter, too. Nobody wanted her because she's 17 years old.
