Finished drawing with two media, making use of a "filter" of some kind, in my case I chose a through-water perspective, but from the opposite direction that most people would think to use.
The lower half is a graphite drawing, and the top two-thirds are painted on with brushes--it's various shades of ink wash, with lines only to mark out the reeds and ripples. Slightly ehhh photo--will try to find some studio lighting tomorrow and get a better shot.
