...comes some strange creature, not robotic, but covered in plates, spikes, and metal- a natural suit of armor, equipped with a natural set of weapons and tools. Its organic helmet obscures its eyes...
Wingless, it instead scales the walls of the caverns and mountains in which it resides. It climbed up to the ledge it's now resting on in seconds; it must be incredibly strong to move so fluidly and silently with its metal shell.
______________
I'm not satisfied with how this turns out, even if it's the best thing I've churned out at this time.
Gotta practice anatomy some more for sure, and I'm not sure what I was doing with the scale designs.

I sure hope I'm improving. This still sucks!
I want to make something like this (https://8chan.co/furry/src/1414772606059.jpg) someday. The design of the dragons in that picture are even similar to what I wanted when I first started thinking about drawing!
I genuinely want to improve.

I just want to say that your desire to improve and take criticism is incredibly respectable! And I know that you'll get to where you want to one day, because you have a lot of potential with that kind of attitude!
Question! Do you use references? Because dragon anatomy is really difficult, and it's good to look at the bone structure and how the limbs move and correspond to each other (if that makes sense?) so that you can try more dynamic poses! Like, for example, the furthest leg to the right, if you consider what it would look like if it were real, would be really painful. With the thigh outwards and the leg stretched back behind it, it wouldn't be a very comfortable resting position. The leg would be tucked in more, or at least the toes would be facing forward. Admittedly I'm not fantastic at dragon anatomy myself and I'm not an expert (and really bad at criticism), but hopefully it makes some sense?
Either way, good luck to you! You'll get there! c:
