The Cat IS Afraid of Thunder

And the asphalt tile pings
More effectively than the satellite Internet connection.
But what can I do?
This cat is afraid of thunder
And has responded by curling up
Beside me on my loveseat/workstation.
His dawn ears twitching and turning
Not unlike the dishes at NASA.
His jadeite eyes are zeroed on the passing shadow
Just after the fleet light.
So what can I do?
This cat is afraid of thunder
And has responded better than I have.
Here’s me, about to throw a fit and an expensive pen
Over the Internet cutting out.
