So here are Finnagin "Finn" Price and Vinic Pastor. They are the respective gunner and pilot of the Mk48 mech Anarchy's Priest of squadron 233b. They were paired after advanced training and have completed 22 missions together. Although everyone around them seems to think that they have a lucky star lookig over them, they both look for death around the corner. Finnigin always carries to personal weapons into battle instead of just the standard one and has a bit of a trigger finger. He is always looking to go in guns blazing but always has second thoughts before entering a combat zone that has enemy mechs in it. While Vinic shares this line of thought about enemy mechs, he is much more conservative with his engagements, preferring to supress enemy units down and having light infantry take care of the entrenched enemies (as its usually not the ones scrambling around below you trying aviod being curbstomped by a giant mech who are going to shoot you with a rocket lance.) Something else these two share is a general dislike for Mk50 crews. In their words, "Mk50 pilots are more likely to chase after the first mech they see, and the gunners will miss the critical spots anyways." Mk50 crews have the mentality of fighter jocks from the early years of the bombing of berlin in WW2. Instead of remaining in the formation, they like to chase the first enemy fighter they see. Although this is part of MK50 training, Mk48 crews share a particular distain for newer Mk50 crews who often break out of key hold points and leave pockets of line undefended.
