So yeah, didn't quite reach my deadline of every two days but its progress right. Better than 2 sketches per month :D.
Anywho, this is Pilot Max Avalon, although he just goes by Avalon most of the time. Avalon was a notable MK 50 (Reaper) walker (which Ill post later) before his mech was destroyed during a behind enemy lines operation. As I mentioned before, mech crews often perished before getting out of their mechs. When Avalon's mk 50 was hit, it started an electrical fire that killed his gunner. Unfortunately, his tail was pinned under the seat, and due to his current living status, I think you can get what happened. After recuperating and getting a prosthetic tail (which he can't even wear in a mech due to its bulkiness, he was transferred to squadron 233b. One of the primary differences between his current and previous squadron is the lack of Mk 50's. 233b is a Mk 48 squadron that specializes is support operations and is a relatively new group. He despises Mk 48's as they do not have the anti mech weaponry that the Mk 50's had, but orders are orders, even if he doesn't like them. Now he serves as the pilot of the Mk 48 "Bandit" which is gunned by Gaff.
More to come later, I think. I am just barely getting started on story boarding and I want to flesh out main character backstories so I don't get stuck in the mindset of "the why is not important, just look at the explosions!" I might start considering having one or two guest characters to fill in as mech pilot/gunner. Not really sure yet but just a heads up, people gonna die, and the host always lets the guest go first! :D Really though, I really want to get this project started. I haven't completed a single long term project like this before so I really want to get it done.
