I drew this back in 2005 and decided to post it here. I'm in the process of redrawing Donnath and making him look prettier, and I've been updating Anima, but this image portrays their relationship very well. Despite the fact that Anima has grown and is more of a guardian to SilverWing now, he still has that darkness in him that can leak into her…. Donnath has been with SW since the beginning. Since their "creation." Anima came later. Donnath is her true guardian and protector that is always nearby, though you would never see him.

Also, this picture captures the way Anima and my and Donnath and my's relationships were at this time. Anima hadn't yet reveled his purpose and was "after me" and tried to always "hurt me" so Donnath would have nothing of it, being my protector way before Anima. So many fights occurred.

Donnath is a Golden Metallic Dragon based off of the Dragonlance series. As Anima is an "evil" Chromatic Dragon, Donnath is a "good" Metallic dragon. Golds are stronger than Blues, so that gives a bit of an idea of their relationship. Golds control the element of fire, while Blues control electricity.

Also to note, Donnath is a Gold Dragon yes, but his primary form is that of a Qualanesti Elf. He can shift into the dragon. But most of the time when you see Don he'll be wandering around as the hottest elf you've ever seen.
