# Invisible Man

The Invisible Man is a character I'm torn on. While on the one hand I like it, on the other I don't because he really isn't a monster and it's really it's completely restricted to just the scientist who turned himself invisible so it's kind of hard to make it an arch type, but all the same it's become one and the the movie is honestly very good, if you're one for classic Universal/Hammer horror (and if you're not what the HELL are you doing watching this countdown!?) so I had to add it!
Another issue with the invisible man character is there's really only one way to draw him. Overcoat, hat, gloves, goggles. It just looks cool, but even for a set list of things meant to be cliche it's just TOO cliche! I couldn't just draw him how he's always been depicted. So how do I switch it up? Well, yet again, killing two birds with one stone I tossed in a little bit of the Black Plague doctor into the design. Why? Because I REALLY wanted to add one into this countdown. Why again? Because plague doctors creep the absolute shit out of me! Yes, shockingly out of ALL the things in the world, they're the thing that get me. I don't know why I guess they're totally association with death, or those weird, unfeeling masks but they just really disturb me! While I probably could have made it easier to see, I still really like the effect I gave it.
I also like to picture that the invisibility isn't just limited to himself and either 1. He himself is a paranormal entity trying to take humanoid form, or 2. He's a man who turned himself invisible and the longer he stays that way it begins to effect even his clothing and will eventually make his particles completely disperse into nothingness... both ideas I like, but I think I'm siding with option 2.
I really can't say there's much for an invisible man that isn't very obvious in regards to Purgatory. Just a type of ghost that's totally invisible and they use clothing to give them form... may also fall into the haunted armor category?
