As I was making this, it dawned on me that I had no clue how to draw arms so that they appeared to be bending AWAY from the viewer's perspective.

That might be why it looks like it has freakin' TINY arms, so if anyone has some advice, feel free to give it.

Some reptiles have "sails", or large frills on their back, like the now-extinct dimetrodon (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/5/5e/Dimetrodon_grandis.jpg)
"Bio-luminescence" can be summed up as 'a living creature using chemical reactions to create light'.
So a 'bio-luminescent sail' could be used to cast a lot of light- perfect for something spending a lot of time in caverns, which is exactly what I'm aiming for!
