This was taken last week on 8/14/2008. As part of a family reunion I attended, we went on an evening carriage ride for an outdoor barbecue. At the end of the evening, the driver allowed us to sit on one of his horses for a picture.

Have I ever mentioned how *enchanted* I am with horses? They are such beautiful, elegant, powerful creatures. I have nothing but admiration and respect for them.

I spent a long while talking to the horses, petting their noses, watching their behavior. When the driver told me I could sit on one of them for a picture, I jumped at the chance.
