Playtime in A&K-2 again! As part of Jessica and Carla's continuing adventures as magical girls they've gotten their magical mascots! Carla went first and got a giant 50+ ft serpent named Midgard which promptly scared the beegeebers out Carla! It can make itself smaller at will and was rather alarmed that its master was scared of it, so it tried to be friendly and gave Carla a hug. She almost passed out from the fright.

Midgard markings look rather like the patterns and traces found on circuit boards, and it represents intertwining Net that has snaked itself around the world. With Midgard's help Carla is able to project her conscious through the net/ grid and see through any device attached to it. She can even view through multiple devices at once and sometimes manipulate them remotely. This seems to be a rather distorted version of what she do in the A&K Prime dreamscape. The downside is that the further a device is from her, the longer she stays connected to it or the more devices she tries to view through at once the more tired she becomes. In fact she can pass out if she does it for too long. With practice she'll get better.

Of course having seen Carla get this cool snake Jessica had high hopes for some big dragon, or maybe some Tyrannosaur Rex-like critter. At least some cool eagle-like bird that shot lasers from it's eyes or something. No. Instead she got this, and "this" is the best way of describing it since it is not listed in the Celestial Guide of Creatures, Critters and Vermin. Twitch has no clue what it is and Jessica thinks she's gotten short-changed again.

This much they do know about it. It hops around like a kangaroo rat and makes a little squeaky chew-toy sound when it does it. It understands verbal instructions and when it nods it's head in a "yes" fashion it makes a little two keys on a piano sound effect. If it shakes its head "no" it sounds like a bean rattling around in a can. It is apparently almost indestructible and can eat ANYTHING! It's already demolished Jessica's Gameboy which really pissed her off since she had saved game on it and then she had to make an excuse about losing it so Dad would buy her a new one. It apparently has a black hole for a stomach and can eat far more than its body mass in one sitting with frightening speed.

Jessica named it Doorstop after she accidentally wedged it between the door and the frame and it seemed unharmed expect for making a small distressed "Squeak" sound.
