It was a cool, autumn day in Saurral Manor. The sun was shining without a cloud in the sky as Haposaurs of different sizes and colors were all making their way towards the grand building their carefree town was named for. The colored leaves in which breezed about and fell to the ground made for the perfect addition to what was certainly a most special day.
“Aren’t you excited?” asked a cheery, pink Haposaur as she walked alongside her green colored boyfriend.
He nodded and looked about at all the other Haposaurs who were making their way along with them to the manor.
“I’m quite happy for our Saurral,” he said. “After all he’s done for us, he deserves it.”
His girlfriend smiled in agreement and watched excitedly as a child scampered past her while his parents insisted he return to their side.
“It’s wonderful that little Lucky has found himself a mother after all this time,” she said.
“I couldn’t agree with you more,” he said as he took hold of his girlfriend’s hand. “Hopefully we can get good seats.”

“Wow!” exclaimed Scuttle as he looked out the window in Lucky’s room. “I had no idea how many Haposaurs lived here!”
Bubble chuckled before stating, “Oh, Scuttle. You have so much to learn.”
“What’s that supposed to mean?” he asked.
“Oh, don’t get your Pockey-Pants in a bunch,” she teased. “Now that you’re in school, you’ll start knowing more than you ever thought possible.”
Completely missing her second statement, the frustrated, orange Haposaur cried out, “I don’t wear Pockey-Pants!”
“What’s wrong with wearing Pockey-Pants?” asked Lucky.
“Yeah!” cried Cappy as he pulled up on his green colored Pockey-Pants.
“You wore them when you were our age, too!” proclaimed Fritter as he proudly stood alongside Cappy.
“Alright, alright!” exclaimed Scuttle as he waved his arms about. “I take it back.”
Lucky grinned and said, “We have more important things to worry about anyway.”
“Right,” said Bubble. “Like getting ready for Ducky and Binky’s wedding!”
“Yeah!” exclaimed Lucky before wiggling about in joy as he thought about how happy he was that his father and Binky were finally getting married.
Just then, Truent walked into the room.
“Hey, kids,” he said in his deep voice. “Are you all ready for today?”
“Yeah!” the children cheered in near unison.
Truent nodded and said, “Good.”
“I even remember everything from the rehearsal,” Bubble proudly stated.
“Wonderful,” said Truent as he looked towards Lucky and his other friends.
“Well, children,” he stated as he turned to leave the room. “Follow me down to the Main Hall. The ceremony is about to begin.”
“Yay!” the children cheered as they followed Truent out of Lucky’s room and headed towards the Main Hall.

“Oh, mom,” Binky said as she paced about the room. “I don’t know if I can do this.”
The sky blue colored Haposaur put her hand on her daughter’s shoulder and said, “Oh, honey. Don’t worry so much.”
“Ducky has such a way with words,” the greenish-blue bride to be stated nervously. “What if I get all teary eyed after he says his vows to me and I can’t mumble a single word?”
Binky’s mother gave her a hug and a kiss before stepping back and saying, “You’ll do just fine, dear.”
KA-BOOM!
Binky leapt in surprise at the sudden, explosive sound that came from outside.
“What was that?” she asked while moving towards the window.
“How pretty,” Binky’s mom stated as she gazed towards at what appeared to be a sparkling, purple firework. “Now isn’t that just sweet of your husband to set off fireworks before your big moment?”
A tear formed in Binky’s eye as she thought about how everyone was so excited for her and Ducky’s big day.
“Are you alright?” her mother asked.
Wiping her tears away, Binky faced her mother and said, “Yes, mother. I am just so happy to have Ducky in my life.”
“That’s how I felt and still feel about your father,” said Binky’s mom. “Now let’s go see if all the flower baskets are ready for our guests.”
***
“Now isn’t that something,” Ducky said as he looked out the window of the Saurral’s Chamber.
A green colored Haposaur gave a hearty laugh before adding, “You have quite the friends, don’t you, son?”
“I do,” Ducky replied with a smile.
His father walked toward the open window and admired the lightshow that was now illuminating a large portion of the mid-day sky.
“I wonder who came up with such a clever idea?” he asked.
“I’m not sure,” said Ducky. “Though I look forward to finding out and personally thanking each of those responsible for such a thoughtful gesture.”
“That’s my boy!” Ducky’s father proclaimed as he patted his son on the back. “Now let’s go see how things are going downstairs with your mom.”
“I’m right behind you,” stated Ducky. “Let’s go see how the final preparations are going with our side of the family.”
