Wanted to upload a picture of my Smokey and was going through all the pretty poses of him… then remembered these. My Smokey passed earlier this year and as he got older he couldn't get around that well, his hips failed him. But this is how I remember him - like a puppy. We always called him Smokey-Puppy to the last day of his life.

He always had such energy and playfulness about him - they say Blue Merle's are a bit more aloof and goofy of the colors of shelties, and well, I can vouch for this, it's true!

He would bounce the ball off his nose like a seal. This was from a fun party I had with some friends I miss a ton. Good memories. Of them and my Smokeys <3
