Here is the 26th chapter, little short but does its job to advance the story. Yeah, the knight returns, as the groups all prepare to meet up in the town where truths will be revealed.
Also chapter was going to have a bit of lighter moments, not sure if I did that right.
Serra and the Drakenfoxes belong to

“We’re going the wrong way”
“Yeah, how would you know?”
“Cause I sense my body is that way”
The vixen taur and serpent stopped as they looked at each other. “You know, this would be easier if someone hadn’t, oh I don’t know, teleported us. Heck, why did you do it to yourself?” Christie asked looking down at the serpent. “I honestly have no idea. Look, we were being shot at, I just did what was the best course of action” Freya said back to the vixen.
The two stood there in silence, the chirping of alien bugs filling the night air as the glow of the planet in the sky illuminated the ground softly. “Sorry about that Freya. I do understand that, I mean I would have done the same thing. If I was a bioship” Christie said as she broke the silence a bit. “It’s ok, but right now we have to meet up with the others. If I know correctly we should all be heading for the same direction” Freya said before setting off again.
“How are you even sure we are all heading in the right direction?” Christie asked. “Well hopefully. I can’t really tell if that is happening or not, I am just guessing” the serpent replied, slithering alongside the vixen taur. “Well, maybe we will run into one of them” she said to Freya. The serpent nodded as they continued.
Time passed as they got closer to their destination, but the two of them were having a heated debate as they moved. “All I am saying is technology is easier to understand” Christie said as she looked down at the serpent. “Yeah, well can’t do anything about that, I am a bioship” Freya said back as she slithered next to the vixen taur. “I understand, but there is just not much to do for someone like me” Christie said as she turned and looked ahead at the path. “Well there is Alruna for you to work on” Freya pointed out. “Yeah, I know, but going through the journals is a bit of a pain to find out the tech specs for her” Christie said as they walked.
“Well, who knows we may get someone who has a ship, and they will let you work on it” Freya suggested as they continued on their way. “Hmmm, true, that is a possibility. I am sure there are a few classes of ships that can fit in your hanger” Christie said as she nodded in agreement. “Sides, I think I have a few growth spurts as I get older” Freya said as she smiled at her. “Well, hopefully we find more to keep up the disguise of a crew” Christie as they trekked on.
They did pause a bit as the oblong patrol craft moved over the area. “Hmmm, interesting” Christie said as she watched one pass over. “What is?” Freya asked. “Those are Seeker class Patrol Craft. Issued by the galactic government. Wonder why they are here?” she said as the craft disappeared from sight. “Hmm, well I am not sure. I think there was a broadcast before we were shot down, that I think the Pirate Queen is on this planet” Freya said after thinking for a minute.
This caused Christie to turn around and look at the serpent in surprise, stopping in her tracks. “What?!” she almost shouted, for a second an expression of panic on her face. “Yeah, they say the Pirate Queen has been shot down, at least that’s what I think it was. Why, are you shocked Christie?” Freya asked as she looked at the vixen. The serpent reared up, ‘standing’ almost as she looked at the vixen taur in the eyes. “Is there something you’re not telling us? Remember I know of the transmissions, that you send out. But I don’t know who they are too” she said. “Ah, no. Just surprised that they are this close to her” Christie said as she backed up a bit. “Just remember if anything happens, you’re stranded here if you got some plan that will harm the others or me” Freya said as she lowered herself and continued on her way.
Christie watched her go, before muttering under her breath, “You don’t get this with a normal ship.” The vixen caught up and walked alongside the serpent. “Don’t tell me you don’t have secrets” Christie said. The serpent looked up and shook her head, “I don’t.”
“Really, most people do”
“I don’t, as I just said” Freya said as they continued on their path. “Ok, I will not push onto it. But you have to know most do have their secrets. As I do” Christie said as she looked up at another craft flying westward.
Necetra and Serra sat in the town on the outskirts as they watched the night. Serra smiled as she snuggled up against the cyborg dragoness. “Serra, do you think the others are alright?” Necetra asked. “I am sure they are” the drakenfox said as she looked at her. “Well, I know you can get us off the planet. But, I just am not sure if they are ok, and if they can get off” the cyborg said. She turned to face Serra, “You think you can get a drakenfox to lead them here?” Serra stopped and thought for a minute as she looked at Necetra’s face plate. “Well, for you sure. But I get something in return later on” she said before sitting up. It looked like she made a noise, but not a sound had come out. Yet, Necetra knew it would travel and attract Drakenfoxes to them.
Seconds later and several Drakenfoxes appeared around them. One appearing on Necetra’s shoulder as it looked at Serra. Serra spoke to them, in a language that sounded like random noises. She knows that Serra can talk to them in English, but sometimes in this language, if it was one. The Drakenfoxes gave off a chirping like sound, before vanishing into portals.
“You know, I still don’t understand how you fly through space. Is that a secret you keep?” Christie asked as she looked over at Freya. “No, I don’t know how I do that. My Mother just said as more join the crew, I will experience growth spurts. I don’t know how I fly, I just do. Do you know how you walk?” she asked looking at the vixen taur. “Well, not really” Christie admitted. “There you go, now let’s just keep going” Freya said. But she paused as a Drakenfox appeared in front of them. The little creature looks at them with a chirp and then bounded out, running ahead of them. “Follow it, it might lead us towards the rest” Freya said as Christie nodded and took after it.
Up on a tree looking over the area, an armoured figured lowered sensors from his eyes. “You were right, they are moving towards the town. And I am picking up an energy signature coming in from the east” the knight said as he turned to someone just besides him. “You think that it was sent by Them?” he asked. “No, but this will lead up. Just one of the many steps of the path to that day” the figure said as they looked back at the knight. He nodded before standing up, “I better go and get in position then.” He leapt from the tree and headed silently towards the town to wait.
