Hey had been the first one to be changed from just a fox to something.... more. He had thought the old abandoned Alchemy tower just a nice place to get out of the rain. A blast of lightning and the clap of thunder had startled him and he had crashed into a table.

Many colored powders had dropped onto his fur. At first, it just tingled, and he sneezed. But then it burned, and he felt as though he might melt apart. Instead his paws changed to something more like what the up-walkers had, and he found new thought patterns in his mind, and new ideas.

Standing up shakily he walked over to a tome on a desk, opened its pages, and found his life forever changed. He'd start the movement that would take back the wood from the Up-Walkers, and save them all forever.
