This statue sits in front of the firehouse.

Some can tell you it's significance to tour fire dept. I can. But for me, I see a much bigger meaning to this statue and it's placement.

In the end, when those bells drop, we are a family. Everything is left at the door.
Some days we save the house. Some days we save the foundation.
Some days we help someone off the floor. Some days we help put a body into a body bag.

But in the end, we come "home" to our family. We are baptized by fire, and are part of something very few understand.
