This ancient hulk is a converted surveying ship, built for charting unexplored areas of space. The rebels have retrofitted it with extra plating and a heavy arsenal. A mounted communications and sensory dish provide good situational awareness to the crew.

Forty-four point-defense guns, twenty rail guns, and four missile pods give the Rebel Frigate a good close-up arsenal, but poor ranged potential. Primary shields offer decent defense from attacks. A rear hangar bay, located in the space between the secondary engines and the mains, provides space for a very small number of crafts.

While not the strongest ship, the Rebel Frigate has the advantage of heavier firepower than its military equivalent. That said, it can only work if it can get in close enough.
