This looks like the dark form still shows through and it feeds away upon the flesh. An like the walking dead the cursed do walk among us.

It is perhaps with great discipline that one is to continue to restrain and purge themselves whilst carrying the dark. Thus, I would view this more as a stumble down a noble path and less a naked confession of sin. Winds guide you. :)

I see your use of platitudes remain,. It is a valid idea though be it one that seems off as to the mythos I created, but the eyes do not show and if this were with the sword removed from my grasp and this was the withdrawal symptoms, still fascinating idea.

I never saw it as disrespect just something beyond my initial thinking. You have a slight history on the sword itself, but not so much on how Aquilla acquired it, and that is not written down at this point in time, but should be. So instead I thank you.
