Introducing the Rebel Cruiser.

This vessel is the equivalent to the military's Light Cruiser.

The ship is actually a stripped-down cruise ship that has been captured and modified for combat. The only signs of its civilian origin are in the intricate upper bow decoration and the artistic design on the hull.

This Cruiser boasts an arsenal of stolen military-grade weapons. A hundred point-defense guns, five heavy plasma cannons, eighteen rail guns, and sixteen missile pods provide its primary defensive/offensive means. Primary and secondary shields bolster its defensive capabilities. It can also launch a limited amount of fighter craft.

The Rebel Cruiser's smaller size and greater maneuverability allow it to outperform its military nemesis vessel in all areas save firepower, armor, and ship capacity. These shortfalls make it easy prey for those who can exploit them.
