Lauren walked along pleased to have gone through almost a whole week without transforming. She had been a zebra female for several days and pleased to wake up to her own face each day. After a pleasant walk, she considered her good fortune.
"Finally, a day with no transformations, curses, or sudden changes of any kind. I... OOF! Did I trip on something? Hey, my hoof! It... My hoof fell off! It's made of... Fake fur? What's happening to me? I was so close to having a five day chip for TF's Anonymous too!"
Lauren regarded her hoof with some trepidation, it being hollow and inside looking like it was suited for a foot to fit inside. There was even a zipper on the side. The end of her leg went from real fur to the same sort of fake fur that her separated hoof now consisted of, and she felt an unusual sensation from her right hand.
"I've got to find help while I can still move!" She cried out, looking around for aid.

Oh well, least someone might get the chance to be Lauren for a while now, as I presume there's little chance whomever find it will realize it's a living fursuit.

I would expect TF anonymous to make TF immune necklaces, or have some similar system (buddy system, emergency counter spell, etc).
It should be easier to ensure on a small inanimate thing than a living person.
If you're unable to find help I hope you'll be taken good care of.
Whomever finds you will probably keep fursuit you clean, maintained and brushed.
