Just a rough sketch of me throwing an idea of what he'd look like out there. I'm gonna fix the ears though cus making them feathered doesn't look right for the species. Almost makes him look like he's not even a Jeracal. OOOOR I might keep it. IDK...
The thought or idea behind his design is that he's a wild looking Jeracal. Almost not even feral as most ferals still retain pet behaviors. He doesn't constantly groom himself so he'll have tuffs of fur here and there sticking out such as his fluffy shoulders and crazy "eyebrows" If he was to brush himself he'd look like any normal Jeracal except covered in scars. As leader of the feral pack he's the first on the attack and first to defend his pack. He's one of the older bunches too. Jeracals tend to live until they're 25 and he's about 17-18. Still strong and able but getting up there in age. He'll have to retire as leader when he turns 20. He'll still act like a leader though if he can help it. That is if he doesn't kill himself during a raid either on non Jeracals or Feral hunters take him out. (People who purposefully hunt the feral Jeracals because they're a danger to society.)
NOTE!!!! That fluffy chest is actually just part of the vest. XD That's not his fluff. It just makes him 20% cooler to have a fluffy collar on his vest. XD

Junaid's name means Soldier or Warrior. He learned how to fight by secretly watching his master... a master rogue/theif/bandit. He was abducted by thieves when he was young in hopes of selling him for a major profit. He has uncommon coloring after all. (Firey Reds) He was often kept chained outside of the master's tent and any rogue upset about anything would often take their frustrations out on him. The master rogue of course would shoo them away as to not harm their money trump card, but like flies they'd always return. He'd watch them fight amongst themselves too and because of this he observed and learned for when he's to make his escape. His hatred of Jeracal "Masters" and "Keepers" even the "Breeders" he began to despise. They only thought of money and would kill anything to get it. (At least that's what he was surrounded by) One of the other Jeracals of lesser coloring would visit him making sure he was fed and taken care of. One day however during a grooming session provided by the lesser Jeracal and a rare day of him out of his chains but heavily guarded the Lesser Jeracal accidentally offended one of the bandits by knocking over the bucket of soapy water onto his boots. The bandit was outraged and slit the Jeracal's throat. With a snarl Junaid leaped to his feet, knocked the blade from the man's hand, grabbed it from the air, and jabbed it into the man's abdomen before yanking it upward disemboweling him. The commotion brought out the Master thief but was caught unawares by Junaid who, with the same blade, thrust it into the master's neck then dragging it upward separating the mandibles. easy enough to say both men died. As the captured Jeracals were kept all in the same area it was easy enough for Junaid to quickly get to them and release their bindings. Together all the still living Jeracals fled from the camp leaving only the mess of the dead behind. (None felt the desire to remain at that camp any longer making them all ferals and under Junaid's lead.) Junaid kept the blade at his side and still carries it as his main weapon. But he has slowly be creating a collection of weapons ready to teach any Jeracal that is willing to learn.
