This is an artwork I initially did as a side reference for angel dragons, but I decided to color it and make an artwork out of it for Pearl x3
Pearl's story is sweet but sad. She was born out of an iceberg. She grew for many years encased in ice in the artic icebergs deep within a cavern after falling from the heavens into the cold, frozen waters of the arctic tundra, until she was large enough and strong enough to break free. She lives in solitude for the most part, as she is the only ice angel dragon that she is aware of. To help appease herself and her rather solemn and lonely life, she will often make it snow more when she is lonely and create massive blizzards, as she will just watch the snow drop around her for days and days. It helps bring her peace and calm as she lives in the mountains and caverns and arctic tundra surrounding the North Pole.
There is more to her story of course. x3 But in this pic Pearl cracks a soft smile as she peacefully watches the snow fall around her. She is a caring and loving angel dragon, who just wishes she had some friends around her, but she can at least find peace in the dead of winter as the snow falls all around her. x3
Disclaimer: Pearl is not a Dutch Angel Dragon. She was pulled from the Dutch AD species back in January 2015 due to anatomy restrictions in the feral and chibi anatomy. Pearl is now a regular Ice Angel Dragon.
