This is my part of a trade with
ReptileCynrik and I did of course not draw this, the credit goes to the talented
loculi who did a good job drawing Reptile's character.
So what is going on in the picture? Well it is more dynamic so maybe he is fighting and about to deliver the coup de grâce to an unfortunate foe. Or maybe he is just posing for a portrait, though he does look like he is quite angry at something.

Well, Reptile isn't angry... that's a typical battle cry or war cry... I suppose.
As a matter of fact, I barely draw Reptile with his mouth open like this... and I don't really know why, because it looks so darn cool!
^___^
WHAT a fierce, fantastic scream... a great and loud battle cry, I'm sure of it. Loud enough to scare every enemy!
First of all... wow! Just wow!!
I mean... thank you for commissioning Loculi. I've ALWAYS wanted to see my beloved Reptile in his style... because Loculi draws in such a photo realistic style I've never seen anywhere else so far.
He is so real to the touch! And while I'm more or less a "comic style" artist, he certainly provides realism.
I've always wanted to see Reptile in his style... now I can.
Thank you so much!!!!!
Really. THANK YOU SO MUCH! I don't know what to say. That's so cool. I'm so happy to see this beloved character of mine in Loculi's style.
Thanks for the commission, man!
So... this was about you.
But now I wish to say something about the artwork, too.
This goes to Loculi... since I'm not sure he will upload this artwork to his page. Anyway, I'll notify him and he should also be able to read my comment and feedback on this one.

Dear Loculi,
thank you for accepting this trade-commission and thanks for spending time on my character Reptile!
As a matter of fact, I think you had quite some fun doing this. After all, we have two aspects in this picture, which you can draw very well (and I assume you love drawing it, too).
First of all, metal... armor... iron and metallic parts.
In many of your previous artworks, I could see how well you can paint metal and metallic surfaces. And Reptile's armor does provide some metal parts.
Of course, the brown cloth also looks highly believable and well done.
Secondly, we have a draconian... dragon... Reptilian character here. You have drawn some Argonian so far... and they looked awesome!
And well... Reptile still is some kind of dragon or Reptilian or lizard species. The scale texture you've created is excellent and very nice.
But the best part is the head.
You thought about the little thorns and eye socket bone and the hard scales above his eyes... everything which makes Reptile rather unique.
Hey... I'm thinking... maybe I'm going to draw the eye brow scales just like you did. In the future, I might add this idea to my design. I like that it appears to be another material than his skin. It looks like horn. Very good idea!
Yessss... and his eye and his jaws and teeth are fantastic.
His weapon is also well drawn. The "Dragonclaw"... yeah. It's a pole arm weapon made of one complicated blade at the end of the staff. You've given it a good shape, just like my design. ^_^
So... I could write so much more but... well... I'm way too excited and happy right now.
Oh... and you're not the first person who gave Reptile four fingers... but he has got only three fingers.
Three fingers and one thumb.
I guess I should make this more clear in my next character sheet!!
Don't worry.
^_^
Thanks again for this fantastic work of art!!!!!!!

You would have to ask
ReptileCynrik about that. But I think he is definitely more on the Hero side rather than villain. Then again I'm not entirely familiar with him. So I don't really know why and what he fights for.
