History was made two days ago; it won't be long before other states and federal programs follow Oregon's lead. Luckily for me, I happen to be an Oregon resident currently on Medicaid. If this actually seriously works out, I will look at it as fate compensating me for the involuntary detransition I had to suffer through.

Anyway, I basically wanted to express how I've been feeling since the announcement was made. Whatever trials I face between now and official qualification for surgery, they will be a walk in the park compared to the last ten years of thinking it could never ever happen.
