There was an kind of article about fetishes in an german magazine lately.
In that article have been some people interviewd which have lived out their personal flavors , and one of those was into pony play like you.
It's actually interesting because it doesn't necessary need to to have any sexual motivation but it's rather like a way to escape the reality/spend time with a hobby.

I've been struggling with how to reply to this as I don't know if I'm a sexual pony or not I've been getting a headache debating it to myself all morning. I don't think of myself as a sexual pony at this point of time... I think lol
I think ultimately pony play is what the those involved make it, there's no right or wrong way to do it.

PS I might know the pony in the article as I know of a certain German ponyboy who has spent about 3 days straight (every year or so) in continuous 24/3 headspace. I have lots of respect for him being able to do that
