Hello,
Are you an artist interested in 3d art, always had a passion for 3d art or just simple want to get your hands on something new?
Well I am proud to announce that I will be running a series of workshops dedicated to teaching others in the field of 3d modeling.
This workshop will be ran online and have limited space available.
It will run in 2 hour sessions and go over several elements of 3d modeling that will give you a strong foundation and understanding of the tools and elements of modeling in 3d space.
What we will look at:
Autodesk Maya, 3d's Max and Mudbox
Modeling simple objects, Environments, Characters and workflow.
Cleaning up, unwrapping, and baking normals from high-poly models.
Texturing, lighting and shading.
This will be a cram course and will require the programs listed or equivlent. Blender and Z brush are suitable equivlents but note that the course will follow with the programs listed above and will expect some knowledge of the UI in order to follow with the course.
Students of a University or College in an IT program will be able to obtain all software from autodesk free for 3 years under a student license.
In order to support this work shop a small fee of $10 will be asked and wont run until all spots are filled. Space is limited due to restrictions of google hangouts.
Google account will be required for google hangouts which allows for multiple screen share which is important for learning and helping other students. Google accounts is free and you can always cancel the account if you wish to only use it for this workshop.
