Hazard Heat Shield
Being a dragon born of flames means you've got a few inherent skills built into the form. For Hazard, he's immune to the fires he's exposed to, and in fact basking in the heat with outstretched wings. He is a wonderful heat sink. But that also makes him an ideal mobile heat shield for his unit of the Valley North Rescue Brigade.
Dropping his right wing a bit, the unicorn mare Belatrix was able to aim a stream of water arching towards the flames while being protected. A good combination of equipment and resources.
Hazard may love he heat, but that water from the hose that sprays over his back and wings at times can be *COLD* and no reptile cares for that!

Northern-Crosshair on Tigerdile.

I do what I can to help out. Being shielded from all that radiant heat greatly increases the amount of time my combustible teammates can stay close to the action. To be honest, I'm not truly immune to fire, just very resistant to it. Though I can see how most would consider me to be immune.
Far more important though are my lungs, which filter out smoke and toxic gasses, allowing me to breathe without masks or air tanks. If I'm not flying I can even be in a zero oxygen environment for quite awhile.
You are very right about that cold water; it not only is extremely uncomfortable, it messes up my metabolism. Too much rapid cold and I'm out cold. We make that very clear to the new recruits that you don't douse the drake.
