After several months, a meeting between the two former giants is finally arranged by the Government, and finally they get to see one another. They may be apart, but in reality - they will ALWAYS be together. Life has consequences, each decision has a reaction, but love can conquer all of that, whatever obstacles are put in your way.
Thank you to everyone and anyone who has loved, supported and read this comic - it has been five years of terribly hard work but it is now complete. I hope you have enjoyed it as much as I have enjoyed drawing it.

I'm glad I could have been even a small amount of help. You are a great artist and storyteller. I have greatly enjoyed watching the story unfold as well as the fantastic commission work you made for me. ^,..,^

Epic dude, truely epic. Such a great series, great story, a fun ride and with a real world resolution to boot. Consequences and downsides as well as upsides, almost unique for this website. Thanks for bringing your story to us, congratulations on drawing so many pages, good on ya!
Congratulations Lizzimba! It must be quite the achievement to finally finish something that took the best part of 5 years to complete. You really should be proud of what you've accomplished, and I'm sure everyone else who has read the comic feel the same way. Thank you so much for such a great series and I hope you continue to make even more great comics in the near future!
That such a macro and furry legend as yourself, who helped inspire and entice me into furry in the first place would even pay attention to my comic, never mind think its good and woth supporting means a lot to me and massively helped build my confidence early on. Thank you so very much for taking the time to let me know that I had such epic backup as yourself.
I guess, but it's a lil on the ending of it all, good but also a lil on the bittersweet side as well, mostly for Ben I think.
Ben claimed dead but is a prisoner so he can never be seen in public again but still gets to be w/ his love and work on his inventions, so again it's a lil bittersweet.
And also just feeling that sense of... well, it would be a personal thing on the subject that I shouldn't bring up really.

Is it an uncomfortable ending for you? I'm sorry if it is - but really, its the ending that it needed to be. A full on happily ever after would have betrayed the story for me personally, but at the same time I had huge attachment to the characters so didn't want them to be wholly unhappy.
In life - whilst there are consequences - some things go for you, and some don't - but take time to admire the perks you recieve and the people you spent time with. :3 Thats a broader message you can take from it if you will - if that is more comfortable for you.

Well, we all have our times like that. I was very alone for a loooong time and felt lost, so I know where you are coming from, and I know it feels endless. But you know what Omni? It won't be endless - and you will find that special someone who you care about. :3
Hard to believe it's finally over. You did an incredible job of keeping this going and wrapping things up in a neat way.
Considering the events that transpired, I'm glad everyone got to have a relatively "Happy" ending of some sort or another.
Will you still be doing one-off shorts of Ben and the gang? I did like those silly comics with Ben that would show up now and then in your gallery and I hope this doesn't mean you're closing the door for good on your team.

I see Matter and the silly commissioned comics as kinda separate universes really. Anubiis isn't gonna suddenly pop up in Matter for instance just as much as Alex won't in the other comics. All the events in Matter affect that universe, but if I were to do other commissioned comics, Ben would be able to be the sane lion he's been in the other comics :3
Congrats on an epic journey, Lizzimba. You must feel both very proud and perhaps a little apprehensive now that it's all wrapped up. Thanks for letting us share in the evolution of your art and your storytelling, and congratulations on two milestones - finishing up Matter and turning 30. Hope it's a great birthday!
I just now read the whole thing, and I have to admit, I was completely caught off guard covering some actual consequences regarding a sudden macro emergence. Definitely made the whole thing a lot more interesting.
I think my only question is did you originally write the story so that the president ordered his subordinates to kill them instead, but felt that was too dark and made the president seem a little too nasty? That would make the freakouts from his staff make way more sense (after all people have been taken into custody for far, far less than what occurred that day, and if arrested they can always be set free later ). It just kind of reminded me where they re-write a kids movie to where they re-write the script so that a favored character is only "unconscious", but the reactions and tone OBVIOUSLY show that the scene called for a death, or when they dub anime and take out references to subjects that aren't tv-y7 or something.

Actually no. I had toyed with the idea of the military coming in when I was first developing and crafting the story, but there would have always been a team attempting to resize them.
The reason that gunning down wasn't the way to go is the horrifying fact that just because you've killed the wolfess....doesn't mean shes going to stop growing! The only solution was for her to be shrunk, and better a co-operative person than a corpse.

I read the whole thing...I love it I gotta say the most realistic depiction of macro incident and what ill happen the obviously aftermath

I have this thought. What if, they ended up alone, just for a few minutes. They end up being able to... "have fun" without any of the guards present. What if the result of said miraculous moment... was a child? What if she got pregnant with his child!? heh-heh-heh!
