I don't have any words to describe this picture. Not any proper ones. Nothing I say can do justice to the way I felt when I stepped onto that stage. This is the culmination of two years of dreaming, wishing, hoping I could make it onto Anthrocon's stage for their fursuit dance competition.
After watching so many other dancers grace this stage with amazing performances time and again, I hoped I could one day do the same. That I could one day step onto that stage.
And I did.
After six dance competitions, no other one was more significant, more important, and more vital to me as a dancer. This meant the world to me. This was my dream, my goal, and I finally achieved it. I don't have big ambitions as a dancer, I don't care about placing in the top 3. I just wanna have fun and entertain people.
So, yes. This is probably my greatest moment as a dancer.

Oh dang, I've been following your written works for a while now, but I somehow totally failed to realize that you and Valentine are one and the same. XD Derp moment for me, I guess. Loved the routine, though! You were one of my favorites with respect to pure energy on the stage - it was hard not to dance along.
For months now, I always wondered who this "Valentine" was, finally found you on FA! :D I've watched most of your dances posted on You-tube over the past year or two, and I didn't see one I didn't like, you are awesome, I do agree the FWA performance was the "best", but I can completely understand the sense of accomplishment that you got to be on the Anthrocon stage. The energy you have somewhat reminds me of myself, as I tend to have similar energy and fast reflexes, I just never got into dancing, but I really think I would like to now that I watched you and see what can put this (sometimes nervous/anxiety) energy to a better use.
I was at AC 2014 as my first con ever, disappointed I didn't say hi to you but there was so many people it got overwhelming in certain situations. So again, congrats, and keep on dancing. ;)

Thank you so much, dude. :) I really appreciate the kind words. And I'm...flattered that I inspired you to get into dancing yourself. It's a wonderful art form and one I'm very passionate about.
And yeah, AC is pretty huge, it can be overwhelming. I hope you have a great time at your next con, whatever it is!

Yes I always have loved music, so it only makes sense to me that dancing would be a great addition to my life. There are alot of great dancers out there in the fandom, as you know, and some of the performance are incredible and all I can say is Almost depressing.
I also love Valentine, awesome Dingo. :D I would like to go to More cons, but because of work it can be difficult. Right now my next planned con is MWFF. :)
