And here we have the final product. I'm really glad I pushed myself to finish it because I think it turned out pretty awesome. I found that I really like to use cut away techniques for shading. I put a bucket fill of black on a new layer, turned the opacity down and started cutting away the highlights. I did a similar thing with a white layer to add just a couple highlight and then I used glaussen blur to soften it all out.
This is my Fursona. I am somewhat stubborn, but adorably spastic, so a cross between and ram and a goat seemed fitting for my personality. Plus I really like horns and goats/centaurs in general.

Loved how this progressed - you were SO right in taking it just that little stage further from the flats (good as they were!) as the shading really brings this to life!
