I wanted to work on lights and shading for a while now but I haven't really had the motivation to do anything with it until I got a gift from andalar.deviantart.com. Seeing what someone else could do with my own character helped push me to put more effort into my projects. And I can honestly say that it has been a while since I have been happy with my digital projects, but this one broke the streak. Its not perfect but it is a huge improvement for me I think. Still working on trying to make the colors more vibrant and not quite so flat. I still have the line-art in my folder so if anyone wants to see that I can post that but I didn't want to unless someone was actually going to look at it.

Took about 8 hours and started as a sketch.
