Ok... been seein' some'a you culinary critters postin' some of the salad creations y'all been makin' here lately an as hot an humid as it's been here in texas it already don't take much fer the mere sight of a cool, refreshin' salad ta be such a welcomed, mouth-waterin' sight so thought I'd share this BIG bountiful bowlful with ya...

...Heh cause ya know we gotta make everythin' bigger in texas anyways... much less what happens if ya let a giant werewolf raid yer fridge fer salad fixin's after imbibin' in some smoke heh... so here's a list'a everythin' that went inta this tasty creation:

garden lettuce
sliced carrots
radishes
celery
broccoli
diced onions (both white & green)
cucumber
tomato
mushrooms
pepperoni
diced ham
shrimp

I'd gotten a large bowl ta use fer when I'd first started makin' this but b'fore I'd even gotten through half the list of ingredients my bowl was full so had ta switch to the JUMBO sized salad bowls we got b'fore I could even finish makin' this!

Now after all the ingredients were in the bowl here is my lil' recipe of the perfect salad dressin' combo ta give this monster salad the proper 'kick'...

First I gave it all a good thorough waterin' of red wine vinegar and a few shakes of Mrs. Dash garlic & herb seasoning... and then gave it a few squirts of ranch dressing so that it gives the salad much of a tarty punch to it rather than the more creamy smoothness of jus' usin' ranch dressing alone... however feel free ta substitute whatever yer preffered salad dressing is...

...an there ya have it... A big ol' texas-sizedversion of 'just a salad' so don't think yer ever gonna come visitin' thinkin' yer gonna get away with havin' 'just a salad' cause there's no such thing here! LOL enjoy :)
