Mary had a hard life. The oldest of Henry VIII's surviving children, she was separated from her mother and estranged from her father when he took England out of the Catholic Church over the matter of his divorce. She was imprisoned, berated, browbeaten, and finally allowed to live with her own household.
Upon the death of her half-brother Edward VI, she was acclaimed as England's monarch after the nine days' reign of her cousin Jane Grey.

The infamous Bloody Mary.
Ironic, both were of Henry VIII yet it's Anne Boleyn's kid who gets the fame and Catherine of Aragon's(who was the popular one among the people when the divorce matter was hanging over her father's head) she's the infamous one for the history of the UK.

But it's still ironic. Both were married to Henry VIII
Boleyn was infamous and hated by many. Yet her kid is beloved.
Catherine was popular and well liked. Yet her kid is the hated one.
You are right about Mary. But I also know this, when good people do evil and bad. The good and other related stuff will never be remembered. All that is remembered is her being Bloody Mary.
