Hm. This might be a foreign concept to some, but let's try thinking.

I (we) know nothing about this character, and these selections are each very different. Is the character a fawn? What age? An adult with a job? What's he do?

If he's an adult, and (say) works at a library, the short stature of selection A could lend itself to some situational comedy (can't reach high shelves, etc; endures short jokes). Is that the kind of humor the artist/writer wants?

If he's a fawn, you don't want him too tall.

Is he the type who takes himself seriously? If so, selection C is no good!

Is he a jock? If so, perhaps B (unless he's a wannabe tough guy, in which case, A again).

There's all sorts of things which bear on A THINKING PERSON'S judgement. I don't want to make a choice knowing nothing about the character or their situation.

I'm a character writer, therefore I consider these things.

If this were intended as a Mr-Cute contest, I would agree not much thought would here be required.

However, the above is not the case, hence a little bio would be helpful. :)

I want to hear the artist say so. As it is, there's no evidence suggesting they don't have an idea/backstory for this character. Also, we do not know the tone of the comic, what kind of humor it contains, etc.

Honestly, it depends on the tone of comic. Serious story with complex plots and such? C. More casual situational comedy? B. More cute and funny natured? A.
