I had a lot of different animal ideas, but the fascinating ability of cougars to leap downward from trees inspired this one! I also got to work with watercolor more deeply, which I enjoyed even if I still have a ton to learn about it.
I painted this for a local exhibition, so if it doesn't get in/doesn't sell there, the original will most likely be for sale online or at Rainfurrest.
