in the Anchorage airport,
headed to Seward,Alaska
to RESCUE ANIMALS after the ExonValdez Oil Spill...
the TV screamed!!!!
the Chinese Communistas
had killed their Citizens!,
& toppled the 'Goddess of Democracy'.
I took a deep breath
& looked around me
did no one else see
this outrageous event!!!?
as i was headed
into the belly
of yet...
another beast!

I remember...
I remember the ship on the rocks...
I remember the man who bravely faced the tanks...
I remember the tanks in Russia that were spun about to protect democracy...
and I remember an America that had some balls and the testosterone to back them up...
You can't fix it because it has always been so... but you can't fix it if you don't try...

I choked back the tears
watching the dying birds & animals

completely changed my life...& then i arrived in Alaska...
it was a one/two punch & God Almighty WON.
My Life was forever changed.
