"Hello, hello, hello!" purred the thing as it lazily rested its head in one of its mismatched arms.
"Whoa, you talk!" the Scout said. "What even are you?"
"I am a lot of things," he replied.
"Well no crap, I can see that. You gotta name?"
"You can call me Discord," the thing said, taking two fingers from his paw and pinching them near his eye, "while I can call you Tiny!"
"Uh, excuse me?" the Scout said.
"Oh, I'll be the one saying that soon," Discord said. He opened his mouth wide and pointed into it. "After you become my snack, you tiny little thing!"
"Stop calling me that! You're smaller than I am, dumbass!"
"Oh really? You look pretty small to me. I'm lying on my side and yet I still have to look down just to see you!"
Fuming, the Scout pointed at the box. "That's because you're sittin' on that bigass box, ya numskull!"
"Oh really?"
The Scout blinked, and suddenly Discord was standing in front of him. The creature made an exaggerated gesture inviting him toward the box. "Do you think that I'll look smaller from up there?"
"What, you fail preschool or somethin? A'course I do!"
With an expert hop, the Scout climbed up to the top of the box without even letting go of his bat.
"Idiot," he muttered under his breath.
