I forgot they had the drift setup. I used to work at a shop out there at the track. It made it a little fun to hang around after work and see what kind of toys showed up each week, or which ones broke!

A couple people have mentioned shop space at the track, but all I've ever noticed were the paddock garages, pumps, souvenir/concession and instructional buildings. Where are these shops?

Follow the road around the big 180 degree turn and the shops are all along the area behind the advertising walls opposite the main grandstand. They used to check our IDs like crazy during NASCAR week and wouldn't let us use the side gate for entry (there's a rolling gate to the right just after you turn off the highway.

Some of the shops back there are where they stored the vintage NASCAR vehicles, lots of Fairlanes and Torinos with the big block cobra jets.

Most of the time they wont (or at least they used to) not stop you from driving back there to check out the shops.
