After playing the Mario Golf: World Tour demo [the game is great and I plan to get it ASAP], I decided last night to draw a Bowser that had been displaced from fiction into our reality. The idea is that he wakes up in the real world after materializing in a high-profile science experiment that briefly rips open a tear in the fabric of reality and spits out an until-then imaginary creature. He's endowed with human rights by the U.N. and treated as an ambassador from his world, even though nobody is capable of verifying that anything he remembers is actually real. Stripped of his kingdom, army, and royal privileges, he eventually learns to cope with life in this strange new world through his millions of fans and his numerous hobbies -- the most accessible of which is golf. Future Mario games use Wario as the villain, though whether it's truly by choice on the part of Nintendo EAD or not, no one can say for sure.

Anyway, that's why he's looking pissed-off at hole 7 of Pebble Beach here! Still haven't cooked up an explanation for why he's got a bara humanoid physique, though :v
