Told you there was a new character coming soon, and here she is!! Since summer is pretty much here, I decided I needed a beach character, thus coming up with Nixie my land shark.

Back Story: Nixie was born in a very loving home. Her mom was a singer/songwriter and her dad was a boardwalk artist. They spent all of their time together, surfing, building forts out of couch cushions, everything. She was an only child but never took that for granted. However, when Nixie was 6, her parents tragically died in car accident during a hurricane. After that tragic day, Nixie went from foster home to foster home. Most of which tried to force her to be something she wasn't. Needless to say, she was miserable. When she turned 16 she decided she had had enough. She got someone to make her a fake I.D. and left, never to return. That being said, she was still very fond of the beach and the memories that came with it. So she made her way from the east coast, to the west coast. It was here she met one of her birth mother's best friends, Leigh. Leigh had grown up with her mother and told Nixie of all of their stories... the good, and the bad. To Nixie, Leigh became the closest thing to a mother since her mother's death. Leigh ran her own taco stand and of course Nixie helped. Unfortunately, Leigh was unable to keep her taco stand and ran into financial issues when Nixie was 20. After fighting a losing battle, Leigh started looking elsewhere for a job. She ended up being offered a position in a major restaurant as head chef, to which she couldn't refuse. After a long internal debate, Nixie decided to stay, while Leigh left. They promised they would keep in touch, and they still do. This is when Nixie decided to be completely carefree, and she is very happy the way she is.
