People keep asking what would happen if Star
and Gem met and yes they are in the same furry universe so it is possible and well...I think I could see this happening.
Now dont worry dont worry, small children bounce and gem is fluffier than most kids so she's probably had a soft landing.
But lets just say Star has NO mothering instincts whatsoever and whilst she can command a team of soldiers, and go into combat situations, taking control of small infants petrifies her.

I feel you, Star. I mean, they're BABIES. They are given SO many privileges, so much comfort, and always being loved and looked after. Yet they are unsatisfiable and in most cases just cry when they can't properly communicate a point. >_> Let me be the baby! I'll never cry about the luvs and cuddles!
Well, dude, being an Adult Baby and being an actual baby are two very different worlds. Adult Babies can choose what age they regress to and slip out of it whenever they've had enough or need to return to their adult lives. Actual babies cannot do those things. Imagine being totally helpless, unable to get around, completely dependent on another being who can't understand what you're trying to tell them. If I was forced into that, I'd constantly be upset as well.

This is a positive feedback loop, with Star's and Gem's discomfort feeding into each other, to the point of total panic. In the end Star's panic reaction is unpredictable, like many panic reactions. I think maybe Star should not babysit.

Im afraid you've gotten her all wrong :) Shes terrified of children she doesnt know how to handle them she doesn't know what to do with them, she wants to be as far away from them as possible because they confuse her and shes petrified of breaking them. Thats not really chauvinism thats just her being waaaay out of her depth and comfort zone
