At exactly 2 AM, I awoke in order to see the blood moon. But I was a bit too early at that time. Father and I tried to see through the clouds with various success. We ended up waiting a good hour for the clouds to pass, but the wait ended up being worth it. I didn't bother seeing NASA's streaming of the eclipse, because I was slowing growing tired. This was taken as the moon was phasing into the red phase. Either way, glad I got to see it.
