I'm hoping to have it mostly finished within a week or so BUT WE'LL SEE. I certainly don't want to rush this.
I just finished making the digitigrade padding (I'm using some of the same padding from my faun costume) and I am now onto making a pattern for Eight's bodysuit. Wish me luck!

May I ask how long this tail is? I'm trying to start making tails that are big enough for fursuits, and am not entirely sure what a good length is for tails that stick out like this. I'm working on a pattern right now that's around 19" and seems to be a good size, but I don't have fursuits to test tails on...
This tail is 49cm long~ so a 19 inch one sounds perfect!
when I was making a pattern for this tail I just drew the shape out, cut it out, held it against my butt and looked in the mirror. I just kept in mind that the suit would make me bulkier and kept tweaking it until i was happy~ Not a very scientific method but it worked for me.
