Hmmm I don't believe I've seen that before. I do rather like the way the narrator's exposition about what the characters are visibly doing on screen, but also tells us what they're saying rather than have the characters themselves say it. It's an interesting approach to animation, I think...

I remember watching this quite soe time ago now. LOL not obviously the first tun of it but certainly as you said it was repeated often, alongside things like bagpuss and fingerbobs and the herbs :D Daddy actually knows two of teh real herbs sage and rosemary and he says Sage is very very much like the person who actually voices him *giggles*
