Testing out new style for the black&white Semper Fi bonus comics. I think this one might stick. It's efficient, easy enough and looks quite well in my humble opinion. (It does look way better with other panels on the page, but I don't want to spoil). I'll probably go for a way simpler background though.
Panel comes from one of the shorts I've been working on inbetween major issues - Four-page treat, so far called "Evolution Theory". I have a few alternate titles (Natural selection, Snack... it makes sense in context.... NO, not THAT kind of sense >.> ), but I think Theory may stick.
Also, a call out to all of Semper Fi readers and other awesomely supportive fellows: is there anything particular you want to know, from any of our characters' respective histories? How Colby came to existence? Something about Norbert's family? Lambert's past? I'm open to suggestions, as I'll be soon storyboarding new black and white comic shorts and could use some tips on which characters/themes you'd like us to focus.

I'm surprised you don't have more feedback on this picture. This picture really grabs me. I suppose more will be said in the short comic but this single shot is one of those pictures where it leads one to interpret a lot about the characters and the situation. I've been following your comic since

I'm actually rather surprised on how much feedback in general this thing collected. I expected to post this as a scrap, since it's non-sequitur, nondescript panel thing out of nowhere. But the amount of faves and comments I received both here and on deviantArt goes way beyond my average.
