its no secret, it have a weird fascination with this Batman vs Superman “project”. its like watching a train as its just derailing and flying up in the air in slow motion, and hoping that it lands back on the tracks. but with each announcement that hope dies a little bit more.
i had no issue with Ben Affleck as Batman, Gal Gadot as wonderman was kinda iffy but she can bulk up, but Jesse Eisenberg as Lex luthor? theyre taking gamble here. they are building their franchise , on what already was one shaky foundation (man of steel), with very questionable casting.
compare this to what marvel is doing . have you seen the new “Guardians of the Galaxy” trailer?i went from “whats that” to “i gotta watch this”. so Marvel can make me believe a Racoon can talk and shoot guns, but right now, DC cant make believe this superman film can fly

Unstable, sure. But you have to seriously consider, would anyone see Man of Steel without already knowing what superman's deal is?
These casting choices are...feasible but not ideal, But thats whats giving me hope. If they just went par for the course then the resulting film would be dull (like most Pre-Avenger superhero movies.)
And honestly, the only other person that screams "Lex Luthor" is the guy who played him in Smallville.
It probably wont be better than a Marvel film, but im not feeling any particular sense of dread with its coming.
